Amaury. Is that a woman's name?
Actually it can't be, there would be 50 "would ya" threads by now if it was.4 -
Beautiful British name.
Looks like jobs are starting to become centralised5 -
Welcome.
We've not had a Head of Comms since Matt Wright left so it makes sense.
That he is to be Media Manager for the whole so called network rather than just Charlton is of interest.
Background in broadcast media including football.
Look out for new CL members with Belgian ISP : - )

Interesting that he mentions Sint Truiden on both Linkedin and Twitter. I thought we had been told in no uncertain terms that they are NOT part of the network?
Anyway, welcome on board, Amaury.0 -

Everyone should just follow the path and become connected with 'the network'.Weegie Addick said:I thought we had been told in no uncertain terms that they are NOT part of the network?

Whilst I wish the chap good luck, the corporate bullshit-speak in the above tweet does not auger well...7

You would have thought they'd have seen to whatever it was troubling him under his left eye before they took the photo....1

Synergies? Is that the new manager or somethin?0

@Curb_It is gonna be all over this one!0

He works in the media, what do you expect?Algarveaddick said:Whilst I wish the chap good luck, the corporate bullshit-speak in the above tweet does not auger well...
Im sure he will get used to our football speak. I mean Im sure Ben Kensall has never used the "sweating the asset" term since, after being (and still is) widely pilloried on here.
Good luck Amaury.

No I am not. I didnt like the way everyone had to make a comment about Katrien's looks when we should be focussing on her business sense... so im certainly not going to make a comment about his. Even if he is very easy on the eye..AFKABartram said:@Curb_It is gonna be all over this one!

Synergies is knowing that communication is a problem, but saying that the network is not going to discuss it with us.0

Surely - in the interests of sexual equity - this should be put up as a Wouldya?0

We were told this in "no uncertain terms" by an irregular poster on here who gave us no reason to believe that he spoke with any authority on the matter.Weegie Addick said:Interesting that he mentions Sint Truiden on both Linkedin and Twitter. Anyway, welcome on board, Amaury.
The Trust's current understanding is that Staprix NV owns: Standard, CAFC, Alcorcon and K-Z Jena. It does not own Sint-Truiden (owned by RD's current life partner) or Ujpest. (owned by RD's son). We assume however that all six clubs are part of the "network" in the sense that the other owners would be willing and able to co-operate with Staprix on business issues of mutual benefit; this might be the loan or sale of players, or indeed consolidation of six national roles into one network role, as appears to be the case here. It will be interesting to see how much local impact and effective management of issues he can deploy. I could imagine that it might work OK re CAFC, but he might really struggle in the case of Ujpest. Impenetrable language, but increasingly too, impenetrable national attitudes to all kinds of daily issues.

Welcome to the club.
At a guess the other clubs in the group will benefit more from this than we will. The way I see it our existing media team are pretty much spot on with most things.
If however there are things that we could do better that maybe standard liege already do then these are the synergies I assume he speaks of.
Ultimately if you can merge the 'best practice' from a number of areas (in this case football clubs) then you theoretically improve things

We need a Network shirt deal and sponsor - that would be worth a few quid and meets the levered commercial model.0
