This was a tough one, have enjoyed so many. Only Fools is also a timeless classic, just re-watched the first series recently, and this came out years before I was born - it just doesn't get old.

Does anyone remember Operation Good Guys. It was like a "the office" style docu thingy version of The Bill. About twenty years ago. Only one series I think and it died a death. One episode feature David Seaman. I thought it was hysterical.

Operation Good Guys should have been in my top 5. Been re-watching all 3 series. The Lou "Frisk Em" Ferrino episode in series 1 and the survival weekend in series 2 are absolute classics.

I beg to differ, not a caber tossing, skirt wearing bone in my body, but I love both...

(You could toss Absolutely, Rab C Nesbitt and Empty into the mix too)

    :-D

I bought the Fawlty Towers box set from that Cex shop in Bexleyheath when I was back a month ago. I've spent a lifetime defending it as one of the funniest comedy shows ever, but this time, I found Nasil irritating and the show dated. Very sad, i'll try it on the children, but so far they don't get it either.
