As we approach post 5000 of this record breaking thread, I think some plans should be put in place for the 5000th post. I think all contributors should try and point the thread towards Jonny Robinson, which is where it all started in August. I think the 5000th post should be reserved for AFKA Bartram, who can then make a short speech, 'cut the ribbon' as it were and make the 5000th post of 'Jonny Robinson' in a ceremonial sort of way. A brief round of applause from all would, of course, then be in order. And, then, of course, it's onward for post 10000. I would assume for this some local dignatory will be invited to post 'Jonny Robinson'.

Can it not be sunk so it doesn't keep coming to the top and interferring with others? That way those who want to contribute can carry on doing so without affecting the rest?
