    Maybe it is all just a really clever media strategy. Knowing that everyone will be non plussed and pissed off about Riga not being appointed that some bloke who no one has heard of is suggested. Everyone is upset. That falls through and the real more qualified candidate is revealed. Everyone then thinks, it is not Riga but better than that bloke we have never heard of, and they then get a better start ?
