what a shite day to be a footballer.
Hope these guys find a new club soon and cheers for their effort whilst here.30 -
In addition to that from the O/S:
All other players whose current deals are due to expire have been the subject of new contract offers.
Cort, Evina, Green, Hollands and Pritchard were all members of the squad which romped to the League One title in record-breaking fashion in 2011/12.
Cook joined the following summer, following his release from Sunderland, while Gower made an initial loan switch to SE7 before turning it into a permanent move last summer.
Commanding central defender Feely was a cornerstone of the treble-winning development team in 2012/13, alongside former U21s captain Bradley Jordan and Ade Azeez who were both graduates of the club’s esteemed academy.

Good luck all.1
-
Good luck to all of them. Special mention to the ones who were key members of the 2011/2012 season... Interesting re. Hamer, Dervite etc1
-
Morrison, Dervite, Hamer, Poyet all offered new contracts, but all 4 could end up leaving anyway, Dervite to Bolton, Hamer to Leicester, Morrison and Poyet because of the whole management issue.
Hope all four sign on, a team of:
Hamer
Solly Dervite Morrison Wiggins
Wilson Cousins Poyet Jackson Harriott
Church
Isn't too bad a starting place to build upon, but build upon it we must2 -
Whats happening with Muldoon then... Wasnt he Out of Contract this summer?0
-
Surprised to see Feely on that list, I though he was rated quite highly.0
-
But is it due to the whole management issue or due to the fact that they have been offered more money/ better prospects elsewhere.sam3110 said:Morrison, Dervite, Hamer, Poyet all offered new contracts, but all 4 could end up leaving anyway, Dervite to Bolton, Hamer to Leicester, Morrison and Poyet because of the whole management issue.

Replace the one "up top" with a rejuvenated Darren Bent and I would say that you are right :-)sam3110 said:Morrison, Dervite, Hamer, Poyet all offered new contracts, but all 4 could end up leaving anyway, Dervite to Bolton, Hamer to Leicester, Morrison and Poyet because of the whole management issue.

Thanks and very best wishes to all.0

Minus Church0

He was but if you see where Lennon and Gomez are in terms of age and development, you'd probably place them above Feely.0
-
Nice to have it confirmed. We don't seem to do thanks anymore.
For all those players whether being part of our league winning first team or simply making up numbers on the training pitch thanks for your time with the club and best wishes for the future.5 -
"build upon" is a polite way of me saying "sign 4 strikers so Church is sitting in the stands" but I agree, one marquee striker (not Bent, he is past it imo) and we go from relegation fodder to mid table anonymity.Addick Addict said:

I chose church because Obika and Sordell have left, Reza isn't viewed as a striker as we play him wide and there's no-one else, as Piotr is a spoof footballer being filmed in our under 21 matches for a Polish sitcom due out later this year17

And Harry Osborne guess that means both of them have been offered new contracts as wellForeverAddickted said:Whats happening with Muldoon then... Wasnt he Out of Contract this summer?

Good luck to them all. No surprises there. I guess that confirms Osborne and Muldoon have been offered new deals along with Hamer, Dervite, Morrison and Poyet. Don't think there's anyone else?
Unfortunately I first saw the news pop up on Facebook and the first reply was a dig at Pritchard.0 -
Heard the other day (think through Cawley on Twitter when he mentioned Wood's one year extension) that Osborne had signed a one year dealpaulie8290 said:

Sad that. Pritchard was part of a squad that got us promoted and finish 9th in the chamnp. no reason for it at all.Scoham said:Good luck to them all. No surprises there. Yep. Thanks lads. Hope you all find a club soon.0

Apparently SCP knew he was going to get sacked so signed Churchy up to a 15 year contract on 20k p/w, just to piss Roland off.8
-
It does say on the OS that ''All other players whose current deals are due to expire have been the subject of new contract offers.''
So anyone who isn't on that list has been offered a new deal.2 -
They all should find sides in League One down to the conferenceValleyGary said:what a shite day to be a footballer.
