Yes I am sad enough to play it...

First season I came 9th (Better than Dowie)

Yet It seems football manager read the script...

12 games in, 19th in the premiership I get the sack and Les Reed takes over!!

    I'm still playing Football Manager 2006, still as Welling United and I'm currently 19th in the Conference South. I'm running out of ideas, so I fear the sack may be on the horizon. (I came 9th in my first season and 6th in my second meaning I just missed out on the playoffs)

    First season came 7th & won the carling cup. Beat Spurs in the Uefa the following season & came 5th.
    Its so realistic :) I've got Bent & Cisse up front in my third season, they are dynamite.
