I've won a VIP package with the sponsors for Tuesday's game. 4 course meal, free booze, the full works by the sound of it. Has anybody else had this experience and know what I should expect? And what's the protocol about singing in the VIP area. Is it frowned upon?

Done it a while ago, hope it has improved in terms of food quality, other than that a great experience, colours used to be frowned upon, but that may have changed

if you get bob bolder you'll have a cracking day
  • We sponsored the Ipswich match and I can thoroughly recommend the corporate side at Charlton, wouldnt want it every match though.

Bob Bolder, John Humphrey, Colin Walsh and John Bumstead are great.

You can sing and shout (I did) but dont be surprised if you are on your own and get a few funny looks.

    .

And very smart you looked in your whistle as well !!
  • I am in the Directors box seats on Tuesday with the family as a guest of Coca Cola

i have been in there for all but 4 games this season and it is blinding,

If you are in with Colin Walsh and Bob Bolder,Johnny H the food is cracking, service great,

They dont seem to mind the odd bit of shouting,

    swearing i wouldnt recomend,

I find it great watching the reaction of the chairman and directors when we concede and score

Well, I've woken up in time and without a hangover. That's the first major challenge met. Now I've got to work out what trains are running from Essex today. Judging by other Lifers' experiences it should be a good day. Let's hope we get the three points.

Happy New Year to Addicks everywhere.

Seats were immediately outside the centre circle restaurant - not in the directors box. Unfortunately they provided an unobstructed view of the pitch. It was a good experience, but completely overshadowed by being outplayed by the team that's at the bottom of the table. Again.

I'm not sure the experience constitutes a highlight in Robins challenge to go to every game this season. http://sxcafc.blogspot.com/
  • Was you in with Bumstead and Johnny H? i rember you saying it was won via credit card and MBNA was on the table next to us so i thought one might be you

good crack if not a bit warm inside the centre circle suite wouldnt want to pay for it though

MBNA had two tables. 'Won' it by having a Charlton credit card. Ironically I did pay for an extra place so both sons could come. Won't be doing it too often. Robin reports on the experience and provides a few pictures: http://sxcafc.blogspot.com/
