this dutch selection is worst in terms of quality they ever send to a world cup - i expect them to struggle to get out of the group stage. They used to be full of world class players everytime, but this time they have a lot of players who shouldn't even be allowed to tie the shoe laces of the dutch players of the past.1

decent on dutch eredivisie level yes, but the eredivisie level is nowhere near where it used to be at the moment.cafctom said:

they are very very unexperienced and unproven at international level. In the past holland had plenty of players to choose from european top clubs - this time they have to resort players who play domestically and who haven't even proven themselves in the european cups.
I don't say they are bad players, but they are a level below of what the netherlands used to have.
Of course they could go far again - anything can hapen at a world cup - but imo this dutch selction in general is of inferior quality to the dutch teams of the past and i would be very suprised to see them play dominant as they have in the past.

Not to mention the player's that have struggled in struggling Premiership teams also being in there squad, Fer, De Guzman, Vlaar & Vorm. This i without a doubt the worse Dutch team in my life time. I only watched first 20 minutes but they must have had at most 40% posession, that wouldn't have happened at all with previous dutch teams never mind against a Welsh team missing there only two Top class players.byl said:
