When are the new season fixtures being released for CAFC ??

    Wednesday 18th June 2014 at 9:00am.
    The first game is on 9th August; there will be matches on Saturday 20th December and Sunday 28th December, as well as Boxing Day.

    I love fixtures day. The anticipation the day before, clock watching that morning, getting excited then texting mates to figure out who’s up for what away games, saving all important dates on my phone… It’s genuinely one of my favourite days of the year.

    Just posting to add that the League Cup 1st round draw takes place on June 17th at 10am.

    So it seems certain that we will know the fixtures well before we know who will be playing for CAFC in them.

    Can do without Brentford away being the first and all the b******* that goes with the clamour for a ticket.

    We've asked for first game away, although we could have a league cup game at home on the tiuesday.

    We have indeed asked for an away game but the problem is if 13 or more teams ask for an away game for the first day when there are 24 teams in a league and 12 games a match day on 12 of those teams can get their wish. So I am sure they are aiming to have the pitch ready for the 9th of August or 8th if it's a friday telly game. I would like an away day in the Cap One cup 1st round. Knowing our fate we will either get Bouremouth again on the first day OR Huddersfield. Possibly the Wednesday Massives.
