Battling performance by England against the All Blacks this morning, Derby this afternoon, England's last warm-up before Italy in Manaus, then over to Racing UK for the off at 11.52pm to see whether California Chrome can win the Belmont Stakes and become the first horse for 36 years to win American Racing's Triple Crown. Fantastic stuff.........even for a jumps enthusiast :o)

    The rain this morning could be decisive (especially against the fav) and, with last year's winner having taken the Chester Vase beforehand, I'm going to have a nibble each-way with the only 2 in the field with form over 12 furlongs - this year's Chester Vase winner and runner-up (on soft), Orchestra (16/1) and Romsdal (25/1).
    Don't want to be rooting for anything other than the favourite tonight. Already an amazing story but victory would be simply fantastic.

    Chrome will get the distance, has a great draw, is up against the same horses. The issue is 3 races in 1 month. Amazing story.

    To me, its one of the worst days of the year..

    No Sports Saturday
    No afternoon footy
    No Cricket
    No SPeedway GP
    No Boxing

    Whats on SS now?.... Arg v Ire (friendly Rugby ...yawn) on SS1 International Darts on SS2, Hurling on SS3, and PGA Golf on SS4....GREAT !!!!
    Even the GP qualifying is over for the day.

    Now, next weekend is a totally different kettle of sport.........
