Kentucky Derby

Dreams can come true. Great story, out of a 8k horse covered for 2k. Has now won it's last 5 by wide margins. Winning 3+ million. Trained by a 77 year old who as a kid looked after Swaps, probably California's greatest horse.
Great race too. Amazing turn of foot.
Maybe this year will see the triple crown winner since 1978. Will be well short for the Preakness.

Thought this was going to be about a dodgy bargain bucket in the East Midlands.

Saw the thread title and thought it was about Blackpool birds.

Wow, leg 2 complete..............won the Preakness, role on June 7th for the Belmont Stakes.
Was way skinny at 1.5 but got my losses back for a bad day elsewhere.
The Belmont is the toughest leg due to being significantly longer and Chrome will again start odd's on. This time is a watch and pray moment as many horses have managed 2 legs only to fall at Belmont.
What a ride for $10,500, what a horse, if he manages leg 3 expect the Hollywood biopic.

It's always a shame for a worthy winner that they're the party pooper.
