    What?????????????
  • Now that really is an end of an era, what next the Floyd Rd fish bar This will put pressure on the Valley catering to sharpen up it's match day act.
  • Well that really is a shame, at times last season I looked forward to my visit to the cafe more than attending the match.

The owner told us he was leaving after 19 seasons but someone was taking over.
  • It's not closing down.

If true, then there is no way Astrt Ajdarevic will be back.

Apologies, my colleague JS hatched a plan to wind me up, fully aware of my love for the Valley Cafe. I came back from a meeting to see the chaos that it has caused.
The good news it that the cafe is safe and so is my daily sausage sandwich to take away...

Sounds like Jimmy Stone was winding him up and he fell for it so much that he shared with Twitter.

    It's not closing down.

Thank feck for that. If Simon Jordon took over and appointed Pardew as manager I would still go to The Vallery - but the Valley Cafe closing would make me think twice.

Sadly I think it would have had quite the opposite effect - less competition = lower standards (if that is in any way possible!)

Thank god for that. Mind you, wouldn't be at all surprised to hear that Duchatelet had been sticking his nose in, getting the owner to buy all his sausages from a butcher in Liege and trying to change the set breakfast menus so that Sausage, Beans and Chips was replaced with Treacle Pudding and a Fried Egg and the like.

Treacle Pudding with a fried egg - that is disgusting, get out of our club now you evil freak!

A spoke to his wife t our final home match and she said that he was retiring, someone else (who was there cooking) would be taking over and she was staying on.
