I went to a recording of a BBC comedy show years ago and Sam Kelly was the audience "warm up" man. He was very very good but I can't remember what show was being recorded which tells you all you need to know really! RIP.

A chance to watch Sam again at the moment on Gold, who have an afternoon of Porridge. He's acting as defence for 'Orrible 'Arris at the moment. Classic!

Loved Allo Allo and also played a downtrodden mini cab driver in one of my favourite dramas, Holding On.

    RIP Sam, fondly remembered.

That was Brian Glover's character who had:- 'My wife's sister lives in Sidcup'
