    USA retake the lead.

    John Brooks looks like he can't believe he just scored a World Cup goal. Chuffed for the guy, especially if it turns out to be the winner.

    We must've watched different games. USA scored in the first minute and then did nothing. Can't remember Dempsey touching the ball after he scored and the guy who came on for Altidore was equally anonymous. It was all Ghana and if they had someone who could cross a ball and Gyan had his shooting boots on, they would've got more from the game. USA then nicked a winner from a set piece on possibly the only time they went forward in the whole second half.

    USA look a very limited side and on that showing i'd be surprised if they got out of the group.

    Got to give it to the USA when they put that shirt on they become a bunch of overachievers......mostly MLS players which is probably about lower championship or league one level. Granted Dempsey did play EPL but he is nearing his sell by date. I now fancy them to tie Portugal and keep the score down against the krauts and they will be thru.
