    Not according to the above link. The Football League rejected their proposal, as it wasn't thought to be viable.

    From the BBC article:
    "The situation is that the crowd-funder didn't succeed and we are very sorry about that but the real problem is with the Football League.

    "They have made it so difficult now that unless you have a bag full of cash you are going to get turned down."
    If even I could see this was doomed and would never work, and largely I'm a complete and utter berk, then clearly these two individuals shouldn't be trusted with sharp objects let alone a football club.

    Donny have just had a lucky escape.
