    The way Costa Rica played against Uruguay and are against Italy I hope they do get through to be honest, they've been outstanding no one has given them a chance

    Yet another country where the players actually want to be there and competing. Costa Rica. I didn't see the whole half but Pirlo has had no space whatsoever in contrast to the second half against England from what I have seen.

    Whether they can continue to press the Italian midfield for 90 minutes is open to debate but they've given it a real go. Big country syndrome deprived them of a blatant penalty but they buckled down and got their just reward shortly before half time. The referee really didn't want to award their goal then either so, in this instance, thank God for goal line technology!

    The twelve men of Italy have a game on their hands.

    Pin Pirlo back, press in numbers and you will reap the benefits. Italy were sweating from the off, and barely broke a sweat vs us despite us throwing our best. Fair play to CRC.
