Any chance of an Englishman joining us anytime soon, either on or off the pitch? Crikey we'll all be singing in bloody Flemish come the first game of the season!

The last time I checked Damian Matthew, Ben Roberts, the physio, sports phycologist, club doctor and most of the U21 and youth coaches were English.

    What's your point?

Wahey I love all the anti euro, let's all be brits together mentality. Eriksson and Capello got us further than mclaren and Hodgson, the British team that got the furthest in the champions league was managed by a portugeezer as well.

If a player is from England, Portugal, Belgium, Angola, the Nuie Islands, Iran, Germany or even Wales, it shouldn't matter. Even less so for the management and back team, as long as they get the job done

Why are you so worried about not having an English coach / manager? Our national team haven't exactly been pulling up trees at the World Cup have they. There are so many nations ahead of us in the pecking order, perhaps we (Charlton) need a foreign coach to give our (Charlton) talented youngsters the skills they need to progress #justsaying
