It's a pity the Brazil match isn't first and Brazil had managed to draw to take second place. I wonder whether both sides would have preferred to lose rather than face Brazil on their own patch. Could have been as fascinating as the East Germany v Austria game where both sides played for a draw.

This is exactly the situation in the Germany v USA match where it will pay both sides to draw rather than risking a defeat.
