Although not a psychologist himself, Les admitted to using psychological tactics in his time as Assistant Manager at Charlton Athletic. Pointing to a particular incident as Charlton prepared for a play-off final he explained how he left a message around the changing rooms to focus the minds of the players.
'Confidence is a path down which we have travelled a thousand times. We know where it starts, where it goes and where it ends'.
I wonder what notes he is leaving around the changing rooms now.
My guess is "You lot are sh1t"
