Since Tuesday, we keep getting hit with sporadic performance issues, particularly when trying to load the main forum page / recent discussions.

Until our hosts can resolve the issue, it is worth bookmarking on your browser the Categories page and using that as your starting point

http://forum.charltonlife.com/categories

All individual threads, categories and Inbox seem to be working fine, it is just the main page / recent discussions / home that is having the issue.

    It is just the main forum page / recent discussions that is impacted. It is hugely frustrating as our hands are completely tied on issues that are things we cannot fix as its at a wider level.

    Can assure you, no one is more frustrated / annoyed than us with these continuing performance issues.

    Seem to be having problems again keeps saying problem connecting to the server this since yesterday afternoon, all other websites work fine.

    Same here Sadie, fine on every other page apart from the main one. Getting a bit f***ed off with it to be honest, so understand others feeling the same

    I can get on the main page but it's very slow to load. All other pages quick as usual
