    Some of the comments below the report suggesting it's fake:

    "OK, here's what's wrong with this report:
    - North Koreans already know they're not in the World Cup, and they're watching it on state TV, albeit with a delay of several days
    - The voiceover is in a South Korean accent
    - The voiceover uses South Korean slang ("Hwighting") not used in the North
    - The dubbing is awful and doesn't even match up
    - The editing isn't in North Korean news style (They don't do western style "packages")
    Apart from that, spot on."

    Personally, I have absolutely no idea if it's true or not.

    Can't we take a leaf out of their book, and tell everyone that England are in the World Cup final tomorrow?

    It's probably our only chance to win it again.

    i think it is fake. it wou.dn't matter to most people since only the capital and one other place has electricity so most people couldn't see it and most people are in poverty so it wouldn't matter if they won 10-0. i think most people see something whacky that supposedly appened in north korea and believe it because it is in their nature to be whacky and manipulate stuff like this.

    I think the article headline kind of gives the game away.....

    However, this could start world war three - the North Koreans aren't too fond of people taking the michael.....
