as today is one of my happy days....
last time we lost to Welling, we got relegated
Last time we played at Fulham midweek on Sky, we got relegated
other than that......4 -
lets pretend that Friday night is a weekend then and not midweek. I reckon by the time this game comes around we will know what sort of season is in store...good or badAFKABartram said:as today is one of my happy days....

thanks, just reading about it now. al - Fayed saying it was a lucky statue lol. Fulham had a win ratio of 33.7% when they had the statue and then without it they had a win ratio of 25% according to BBCSheffieldRed said:

The jinx was broken last year .
People said the same about Blackpool away on the last day after 1972.
As for the Jackson statue , Al Fayed blames it for the Cottagers relegation as he believes the statues removal brought them bad luck.

Should take a Johnnie Jackson statue down the Thames instead.

anyone that can afford to do that should arrange it for that game...even if it is papier mache. Or even a bloody mannequin with a johnnie Jackson face would be good and we could plant it where the old Jackson statue was lolfalconwood_1 said:Should take a Johnnie Jackson statue down the Thames instead.

It's not all bad you're bound to find a bar with it on the box which sells a decent glass of Rioja :-)Fanny Fanackapan said:Now missing THREE games for a 7 day break in Tenareef !

Of all the games to get telivised as a long distance supporter I would rather not had been that one. Can only afford the time and money to get to a handful of games each season and that one was the first on my list of must go to ..... Always rather a northern away game on SKY for me :-)

I don't think that will please JimmyMelrose.........its his birthday the day after (25th) & I wouldn't be surprised if he is/was planning on coming over for the weekend to celebrate & to take in a game.
Also. does this mean that we will be on TWICE this season as there must be the obligatory home game v Millwall to be televised.1
