"Steph and Dom Parker from Gogglebox have put their Sandwich-based B&B The Salutation up for sale.

The property is on the market with a £3.5million guide price"

Just back from a week in Winchelsea (Lucky with the weather) and travelled around sussex a lot.
For one night I would suggest Rye - beautiful town and close to Camber/Hastings etc.
Or Tenterden seemed nice on one of our many day-trips.

This place is good for a short stay...

Kingsgate Bay is beautiful and pretty unspoilt as it has little parking, plenty of good coastal walks in the area, not far to walk or drive to braoadstairs and you can book a room with sea views, if one is still available. Pretty reasonable price too, not exactly plush, but it is also a Shepherd Neame place if you like your ale.

+1 for Rowhill Grange. I'm taking my wife there next weekend for her 40th. They've got various deals/packages available.

Alexander House is part of the same group and was very good - RH10 postcode
Agreed, Alexander house is very good.

The George in Rye is lovely. One of my favourite hotels. I haven't been for a couple of years though. The Spa Hotel and The Hotel du Vin in Royal Tunbridge Wells were very nice too.

I seem to have missed Stone's earlier post. Rye has been seconded.
