    Primal Scream - probably Loaded or maybe Country Girl
    Fratellis - Shameless (though no doubt Chelsea Dagger is more famous)

    and for Belle & Sebastian it would absolutely have to be Stars of Track & Field for the Commonwealth Games.

    Stone the Crows...... Maggie Bell, one of the UK's best ever singers, Jimmy Dewar who was in Robin Trower's band.......
    The rest of the band were not too bad as well!

    Went to see them here at the end of Feb. Was really surprised how great it was. Talk about a career that goes full circle and then starts off on another round.

    2009's "Graffiti Soul' album was a cracking return to form.

    good calls Stig, I'm not big on Primal Scream tbh - my favourite is actually "I'm Losing More Than I Ever Had" which Weatherall subsequently transformed into Loaded

    i was aware of the album, however, not convinced by his voice, seems theatrical/twee, and the songs seem a shade forced, sorreee, i know the album has a good following...whereas bill wells & aidan moffat are very real.
