    How very sad, he was the same age as me, I grew up listening to him on Radio 1 and watching all the stuff he did with Noel Edmonds. Sarah Greene must be devastated ............RIP Mike and thanks for everything. Condolences to family and friends.

    Very sad news. A huge part of my growing-up, with the Radio 1 breakfast show & his work with Noel Edmonds on TV. Like many young lads, including Bedsaddick by the look of it, I was devastated that Sarah Greene didn't wait for me to grow up (she'd probably still be waiting mind!)

    I'll remember Mike as forever young. This was certainly too young to go & my respectful thoughts are with all his family. Rest in Peace Mike.
