    Half Time 4-0. Shelvey is head n shoulders above anyone else on the park. Lots of scouts sitting in the directors box. Just hope they're not scouting him. Attendance 1369.

    they were absolutely fantastic.

    No one head and shoulders above the other, no show ponies, just a good solid work ethic and a desire to play good football.

    No guarantees at that level that even the best player on display will go on and make it, but they all seem to have the right attitude.

    Don't really like to pick out individuals, but Godfrey up front leading the line looked very useful, Youseff the left winger looked very talented, and both centre halves looked strong and well disciplined.

    Very enjoyable evening. Pards looked like he was heading for the dressing room after. I hope he was, because they deserved his praise.

    much better standard of play than i expected , from charlton at least, sheffield didn't bring many down...i thought it was a bit off not letting jonjo complete hatrick with penalty when we were 3-0 up ...
