I've been looking through posts regarding who would be right for the job. Poyet and Howe seem to be wanted most! Some people want a manager with a bit of experience too. Mark Robins is the perfect candidate I believe. He did a respectful job at Rotherham and now has Barnsley progressing. Ok, he hasn't won anything, but he has guided Barnsley away from the drop. If we want to get promotion and survive we've got to gain stability (in team and management) and allow the captain to guide the ship to calmer waters from there on. What do ye think? Is he approachable?

As a player, he had a loan spell at Bristol City. Other than that (and about 30 games in Spain and Greece), the furthest south he played was Leicester.
As a manager, he left Rotherham to go and manage Barnsley.
I doubt he's even interested. Too far south.0 -

Regardless, I think he'd do better than Poyet or Howe! Worth a try!0
