Is there a problem ?

why hasn't Gray actually signed yet ? How long does an emergency loan last ? Shouldn't it only cover an emergency, ie having no keepers left. Can another club still hijack the deal ?

    i assumed that it was an emergency loan deal so that he could play on saturday, but asap after the game he'd sign a permanent deal

    Don't know but I guess he sign the emergency deal on Friday, played saturday, warmed down on Sunday, had Monday off with the other players so is most likely doing his medical today or later this week meanwhile sorting out a house/schools/buying a big car/signing up for Charlton Life.

    How long is the "emergancy loan for" if its a week then may do the deal next week

    Didn't he have a medical on Friday evening or do they have to do a different medical for a permanent deal?

    Reported on the OS previously that he travelled down to The Valley on Friday & passed his medical ......
    so - done that bit. Must be just contract & permanent registration, admin stuff, etc.

    Perhaps they need to see him in training first, to make sure he's actually worth the money..... ;o)
