    TV presenters talk about "negative growth". Strange, indeed.
    Crash landings are a strange thing.

    Other oxymorons can, of course, be seriously funny.

    "Forward planning" is not an oxymoron but is an irritating part of business speak these days. Anyway, I don't have time to think up more oxymorons, I have too much backward planning to do.

    Pitch must be 90M in length minimum. So a midfielder is, literally speaking, afforded a zone of 22.5m either side of the halfway line, therefore coming up some 4 or so meters short of each box.

    Btw, where is the oxymoron in "educated left foot"? Its a metaphor and there is nothing inherently uneducated in either the left! or in a foot
