Santos won that game 2-0, it was originally due to be played at 7.30 but due the a national coal strike, energy had to be saved so the floodlights couldn't be used, so it was switched to a 2.30 kick off on a Wednesday afternoon. Many schools were deserted that day with kids and even teachers not turning in due to Pele being at Hillsborough.
