Goal of the month

The vid is up: http://youtube.com/watch?v=pMMyCFp78Vg

What does everyone reckon then?

I'd like to see number 2 from a different angle but I'd have to go with number 5. Lovely dribble by Church, good cross and brilliant finish by Igor.

    Cousins for me.
  • Cousins Vs. Wigan just edges it for me, although Tucudean against Derby is an excellent team goal. Surprised Vetokele against Huddersfield isn't in there as it was a superb finish from him.

I refer the right honourable ladies and gentlemen to the exact moment George celebrates Jordans goal.
One thing I am sure of regarding our George, he wants the team to win before personal glory...I really like this aspect of his character.
  • Cousins shot is really good, was between his and Igors second for me.

I think for number 4 had Igor made the pass to Tucudean and if he scored would have been one of the best goals we'd have seen all season. The passing was brilliant up till that point.

    1 then 5

What is clear is the quality of play in the build up to all of the 1st team goals
  • Lovely footwork from the Iceberg for the George goal.

Either Cousins' for the explosivity of the moment or Țucudean's for the build-up play and great turn.

The design and presentation of the video is top quality. Well done to whoever edited it together.

As for the goals, I'll go for Tucudean's.
  • Tucudean.

Tucadean for Johann's touch round Will Hughes and vision to pick out Cousins, all following great work for Ben Haim to open the play.

Touch and finish wasn't bad either.

I was purring over seeing that skill again! Premier league quality from johann and Ben Haims run was key with a great pass too! I'm gonna say tucudeans because of that and he's finish. But also buyens ball to Vetokele at amex was great also and church did really well too

Wow Gudmundsson absolutely mugged Hughes. The turn and finish from tucudean was top draw too.

Also buyens ball to Vetokele for his first vs Brighton was class.

    Tucudean gets my vote

As an aside I liked Churchy's skip past two Brighton players to set up Igor.
  • Love how each individual player, in every shot of Igor's 2nd v Brighton, chucks their arms in the air to celebrate. Don't remember noticing this in previous seasons.

    They're all average at best.
  • Igor's second against Brighton, superb technique in the box and reminiscent of Mendonca at his best.

Cousins' looks a deflection, for that reason with the build up its Tucudean

Some good goals but Cousins deserves it for me with his individual effort. What a strike!
  • Cousins for me
  • The work by cousins and then the ball in for Georges goal gives me hope he may not be completely wasted out wide...
  • George's. Ball brought out of defence well, great skill from Johann to take it round his man and play it out wide, good ball in from Cousins and a brilliant turn and finish from George. Top stuff

I think there is an element of his acknowledging he may not be the greatest footballer and he is genuinely happy being a part of something that could be really good. I haven't explained that very well but know what I am trying to say.

It is good that there is so much debate about our goals, normally, we are pleased if we get one good goal
