[cite]Posted By: paulbaconsarnie[/cite]doesn't really bother me.
just means 15 mins in the pub either pre or post match.

same here, normally in the Cons Club by 6.30 and generally go back in to let the traffic go after anyway....

"7:45, more chance of getting to the local curry house after the game!"

I'm on a diet now, so 8:00 is better for me!

When I was a lad they were all 7.30 with the odd 7.15 thrown in.

I'd go for 7.00pm, be done and dusted by 9.00pm and in the pub for an extra hour after.

Being self employed I knock off when I want by starting earlier, although the earlier kick off might save me waiting around at Tonbridge for 2 hours for a train that stops at Staplehurst.

[cite]Posted By: Off_it[/cite]The results so far are what I pretty much thought.

A third prefer the early start.
A third prefer the late start.
A third don't really give a toss either way!

    What Off_it said.

Salad I've been thinking about it and perhaps we could just 'swap' our votes around ? What do you think

The only problem I can see is if someone else like us has since changed their mind and is too afraid to post and say or they cant log in or they are on holiday , then it will make the poll invalid . Interesting

Can anyone tell me what the result will be before I vote?

If we are gonna lose I'll vote for 8.00 so I have 15 mins less to be miserable after the game.

But if we're gonna win I'll vote for 7.45.

Of course if it's gonna be a draw then it's a vote for doesn't make any difference. :-)

    Shouldn't this be an option?

The real answer to the question will come after the game on Tuesday, when people will experience the effects of the earlier kick off. Not starting the new job till next week, but am hoping that lots of long distance fans get held up and miss the start so that 8.00 is reverted to.
  • Sounds as though a 7.52.30 would be the ideal kick off time.
  • Update: the average is now 7.52.16.
