is it possible to quote a post from the 1st page (ie first 50 posts) on a thread that is (for example 70 posts long).
i can't seem to do it.

    Yes it's possible, just a little harder.


    copy + paste what you wanted to quote and add in your own quote tags, which look like:

    [quot(e)] blablabla [/quot(E)]

    Remove the brackets around the Es
