If anyone's about the City of London I'd suggest the Bank of England. You get to see bits of the building (including the Garden Court (weather permitting), the Governor’s office, the Court Room and the Committee Room) that aren't usually open to the public as well as the museum where you get to fondle one of those nice gold bars.
