Lack of goal scoring

Much has been written about us only having one forward. Statistics here seem to indicate that only Leeds have a worse record than us. Didn't realise it was quite that bad charltonathletic.wordpress.com/

Have so far scored in all 8 league games...3
-
we might of had less shots than everyone other than Leeds but had more on target than
Leeds
Wigan
Blackpool
and the same as reading
our 12 goals is more goals than
Reading(11)
Leeds(10)
Cardiff(10)
Ipswich(9)
Brentford(9)
Wigan(9)
Wolves(8)
Wednesday(8)
Millwall(8)
Brighton(8)
Birmingha(7)
Bolton(7)
Huddersfield(7)
Rotherham(6)
Fulham(6)
Blackpool(3)
and the same as
Bournemouth
that to me says are goal scoring is not so bad 16 teams below us in goals scored3 -
In each game we've played despite not dominating possession we have had good chances to score more goals to kill games off.1

If we weren't creating chances and were shipping in too many easy chances at the back then I would be worried.....or when Igor is injured.1

Its not a lack of goal scoring though, its a lack of shots.
Leicester had 5 shots yesterday. Being clinical is a great asset imo.
Yes we need to create more chances but at least we know when we get them we are far more likely to make them count than some other teams in our league.0
