    Now he's off I'll be honest he didn't look like a £4m player more like 1-2. I don't think he's as bad as people are making out, I'd still have liked him here. Too much at that price though so in that sense we have dodged a bullet.

    Looks like he's got more to him than what we currently have (bar Igor) but not particularly what we need right now.

    Based on that 70 mins, he didn't look all that. The commentators gave him a massive amount of stick I thought, which seemed very harsh. There could be a player in there, but tonight, he couldn't head, couldn't hold the ball up, couldn't kick with his left foot and didn't do much with his right foot.

    On that performance we looked like we dodged one !

    PS Wearing an alice band with short hair is a straight red card & overall he looked like a complete ****.

    At the rate that Bobs going about pissing off other managers we won't be borrowing any U.K. based players again- this has to be a part of RD's plan to make sure we only borrow in from his network.

    RD's a cunning devil I can imagine him sitting in his underwater lair stroking a white cat, moving figurines of players around a huge board with models of all his stadiums on, occasionally picking up the phone to fire another coach.

    Know I took the piss out of him above but glad we dont play Wigan till February again...

    Just reminds me of Fernando Morientes... Hadnt scored in English Football until Liverpool came to the Valley one weekday night (EDIT: I'm worried now that match was also in February lol!)

    Yeah he didn't look all that but its still early to write him off completely. He is young and adapting to football in the UK. Ok part of me is smiling that we didn't pay out loads for him based on what i have seen so far, but not every young player who comes over can hit the ground running. Tucudean hasn't either (although we didn't pay anything for him and i still think there is a good enough player in there with George).

    As said a little happy that he is not performing at the moment given the fee we were being quoted, but things can change.

    I'm sure Delort would feel he's dodged a bullet by not coming here if everyone is writing him off after two games. Sounds like sour grapes.
