Having the same problem Prague. What browser are you using?
  • Yes, we are very sorry to inform you
That we are entirely out of the fruit in question
The afore-mentioned vegetable Bearing the cognomen "Java"
We might induce you to accept a substitute less desirable,
But that is not the policy at this internationally famous green grocery
I should say not. No no no no no no no
But may we suggest that you sample our five o'clock tea
Which we feel certain will tempt your pallet?
However we regret that after a diligent search
Of the premises By our entire staff
We can positively affirm without fear of contradiction
That our raspberries are delicious; really delicious
Very delicious But we have no Javas today.

In other words, I have experienced the same problem as PA.
  • Had that before too. Bit like piles I think. Comes and goes.

And interestingly, if I try to log in using a different browser, I can enter my user name and password, but the sign in button on the pop up is greyed out

Fwiw, it's not java but javascript that it says needs to be enabled and the like, lol and comments boxes are run using javascript. However, my browser, Firefox, has javascript enabled by default and I certainly haven't changed the setting. I've got 2 PCs I've used tonight and they both show the same issues with CL.

EDIT: OK, half an hour later it's looking good again, thanks.

Probably totally different but I can't delete the second little image anymore, although I do appreciate as I am not a member of you know who, that I lack CS :-)

Problems all over the place, but I'm gradually getting it under control:

Uploaded new web browser. Fixed permissions problem in iTunes. Now busy importing my music library from my iPod, my photo library from my Passport and my working documents from Dropbox. When that's all done I should just about be there (except that every time I fix something, I find something else that's wrong). As for Charlton Life, that seems to be working well now.

Serious message to anyone with a Mac: Make sure sure that you properly back your stuff up. Don't depend on Time Machine which in my experience is a heap of shit.

Could help if you've got a shit back-up problem but I find Guinness best for that.

I think this was a temporary issue affecting a small set of browsers etc.

Let us know if issues persist or reappear.

In other news, I have no power (therefore internet etc.) at home having just been through a surprise hurricane on Sunday morning. Another, stronger one, is on the way for Friday. Will try to check in as much as I can.

Not wishing to jinx it, but all seems OK with both Firefox and Chrome now. Hope the hurricane doesn't make too much of a mess Lookie.
