Great website about a great place!2

Brilliant piece!!1 -
Love visiting Maggie's, absolute quality.
Comes round with the tea, you say "no thanks i've had enough" and she keeps pouring whilst working 100mph shouting at someone for not taking orders quick enough. Leaving with a bladder and belly the size of a space hopper.3 -
A Charlton fan (may post on here?) has a 25% stake hold in Maggies!0

Maggies is awesome. Watching her rip a new one to the poor student serving tea, who's dropped a saucer and smashed it is a treat whilst she's pouring tea and not paying attention......burning you with the overflowing tea cup.
I honestly love it in there though, huge portions and it's got character. Well worth it.1 -
The article on Hardy's pub in Maze Hill is absolutely spot on. The chef tells you what you're going to have (in a good way) and there is always someone telling you to move out the way of the tele!2

Thought the Holly Tree had shut down?0

Maggies is great. Wish there were many more like it in London!0

I'm in the Rising Sun fairly regularly and I suspect I know who would have been talking about musicals. Relaxed boozer most of the time, good place to watch a match and most of the Millwall fans are alright.0

Cracking site that.
I must say first impressions were not great when the title 'Long Live Southbank' hits you and you are almost led to believe this is yet another hipster/toff type plotted up behind their MacBook pro jotting a blog about 'south London' wearing a t-shirt with the slogan 'f*** conformity'
However, this is not the case, the hipsters are yet to descend in any real meaningful multitude and the more articles you read the more you remember why this little forgotten corner of London is so incredible...somehow.0 -
This was one of my favourite reads from yesterday.
ive mastered this one, tho i dont use the loo roll on the cistern tactic.

Haha, just read the Hardy's review. Has it off to a tee, speaking as 2nd generation paddy.
