Dishwashers, no, seriously

I feel a proper Melvin writing this but...when needs must.

I was filling the salt tank when distraction caused me to spill some of the salt in the bottom of the dishwasher...I know, I could have left it there. Instead, I got a teaspoon and started shovelling, well, teaspooning it into the salt tank...but then I dropped the spoon inside as well. I had a rummage with my fingers (Ooh Sir!) but couldn't find it.

How much danger is my dishwasher in?

Cheers!

If it's a Beko then you've probably improved it.

You don't need salt these days, all in one tablets do the trick. A spoon shouldn't go rusty so can't see a problem with it left in the salt reservoir...so my advice don't lose sleep over this.

Throw in a knife and fork and at least you'll have a full set in there.

No danger from the salt, but quite a lot from you.

Ahh, but you know what they say - spooning leads to forking!
