i had the radio on in the car tonight, on the way back from a quick jaunt to Bluewater, it was 'call Collymore' there was the usual fans having a moan about how there team was doing when a Spurs fan came on, moaning about Daniel Levy, how he'd wasted the Bale money, had taken the club as far as he could , and it was time for the club to have a change at the top.

Spurs were 1-0 down at the time , when the Sours fan was cut off in mid flight..... And we're going to go to Villa Park, where there's been a goal!

You got it Spurs had equalised , and not only that , but went on to win the match, I'm sure the Spurs fan felt like a complete plum.

So I was just wondering if we should bombard football phone ins every time we go a goal behind?

Has anyone on here been a complete plum on the radio?

  • Why would you phone a football phone-in during the game your team is playing in? Surely you should be watching the match?

Another reason I hate the premier league.

Turning point was the sending off, which was harsh I thought. Spurs were 2nd best up until that point............

Reminds me of when the Coventry fan called up to complain about a 0-0. He had walked out a few minutes from the end and Coventry had actually won 2-0
  • I only watched the first half but thought Spurs were shocking. Team full of talented players but very casual in their application. Dunno if that's all Levy's fault but one result doesn't change the overall mess they are in, so why should the fan feel a plum?

Lucky Alan Green to have had that opportunity to do so. Some of us have waited decades to do that and failed miserably.

Worst Spurs team I have seen for years. I blame, Arry, AVB, Sherwood, current coach

Well if you actually got off the bloody phone yourself you'd be able to do it! You've been engaged for well over an hour this morning.

Sadly, I'm tending to agree with you.
