Frederic Bulot trained today, so he might be in the squad – we will see tomorrow if he doesn’t have a reaction.

    Sounds promising

    Gomez back as well
  • Interesting how he says in regards to Solly that the player has to have confidence as well...

Sounds like Solly is very sensibly wary himself of how bad his knee is
  • Still like the idea of Gomez at RB and Solly at LB. He did better at LB two seasons ago than Fox has shown IMO.

If it is Fox, he will be eager to take the chance though

It feels like we've had Bob hear years. A very assured, realistic coach who has confidence in his own ability. Has he ever given a bad interview?
  • "hopefully everybody - except Rhoys Wiggins - can get 100 percent fit so the competition within the squad is hard as well"

    Bit harsh on Wiggins.

From the headline I thought it was an interview with Paul Gafa! Massive Charlton fan but for reasons only known to himself doesn't post on here. I'm sure many of you know him.

Not harsh, but statement of fact. He's fractured his foot so is only going to be at 100% match fitness until that's healed.

I like the way BP doesn't beat around the bush and says it how it is.

Bob wouldn't beat around the bush in saying you missed the joke.

Fox looked good last season after a run of games in the team. Hopefully he can do that again and make Wiggins have to earn his spot back in the starting XI.

I really hope you are right but Fox is nowhere near in the same class as Wiggins who has c 200 senior appearances to his CV. If I were the away management team and his name is on the team sheet tomorrow I would target him big time. Hope I'm wrong if he plays and proves me wrong.

Anybody familiar with the knee problem Solly is trying to manage? Sounds like a tendinitis or some type of overuse knee issue ...

And is it likely that he'll play till he's 30? Such a shame for such a quality player
