It was 2-0 when I had to stop watching, so as far as I'm concerned, we won............Woohoo

Cardiff only won because they were playing down hill. Second half

So who was at fault. I want to get in early with some under 21 scapegoating.

I think we should blame the 'mate' culture

I don't know how true it is I just copied it of the spanners forum so probably complete crap
but they reckon Brandon Hanlan is joining them because there is a "Mate" mentality at Charlton

  • Thanks Paulie. How odd. You'd think a football team would be a good place to have a mate mentality. Does he mean "bloke" mentality?
  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but I assume that the 'mate' mentality Paulie mentions relates to the following:

"In biology, mating is the pairing of opposite-sex or hermaphroditic organisms, usually for the purposes of sexual reproduction."

Whilst I'm as open-minded as the next man, these lads are at the club to play football, not party the bloody night away getting up to god knows what.

Jason Euell for leaving Lennon exposed on the left.

It's like the opposite of the 5-4 victory that allegedly kept Powell in his job!

    Very nearly soapy,

There was one old guy, who had a one way heckle with the Ref for 90 minutes.

I nearly went and shoved my prawn sandwich down his cake hole.

So from those that were there....how did we lose that having been so in control ? I didn't see the 2nd half but Cardiff had nothing to them in 1st half.

The 1st half we attacked like Arsenal.

The 2nd half we defended like Arsenal.

Cardiff attacked us down their right, where no-one was helping Lennon, he couldn't handle two players on his own, and that's where their goals came from. After they scored three Hanlon came on and stayed on the left but it was too late by then.

It looked 442 though so who was in front of Lennon ?

No-one. Gerrard is a left-sided midfielder, so I think it should have been him.
