Michelle and frankie were both just on ITV news. Confirming what I was saying before all efforts after frankie gets her treatment will be going on getting the nhs to hurry up with offering proton beam therapy in the UK0

Update: frankie Rose had to have some radiotherapy today that the hospital thought was more of a priority and the surgery to relieve some pressure on the brain has now been scheduled for tomorrow morning, the family are checked into kings this evening.0

Really can't imagine what that poor family are going through right now. Not a religious man, but if there is "someone up there" I hope they are listening to all the thoughts and prayers for Frankie and her family.1

The Op went well she has a shunt in which seems to be working at keeping the fluid off the brain for the time being, there is a meeting tomorrow with all the big bods and parents to discuss the next step. Thank you all for your continuous support x5

Excellent news, the fundraiser went really well on Saturday night, raising what looks like over £4k, still waiting for an official amount from all auction monies. The donations from those on here really really helped thank you all so much. Frankie Rose was released from the hospital Saturday morning so attended the evening herself, she sang beautifully on the karaoke and her rendition of "something inside so strong" got comments from surrouning neighbours it was so brilliant.
The hospital said that the shunt is working so well controlling the fluid that she can now fly, so the family are going with their original specialist recommendation and are flying to the treatment centre in USA, they have raised enough funds to all go as a family too. They are flying out at 6am tomorrow morning and she is starting her treatment on Monday, they will be spending Christmas together in the states and will be back, hopefully with a cured little girl in the new year. It's still a long road ahead, but one with renewed hope and the family are very grateful, beyond words that so many people have come together to give them this hope.
