OP while I applaud your choice of evening meal. Does it comply with the necessary levels of lard laid down in the 1972 Act of Parliament "The Fat Northern Twat Bill"?
  • - we used to only be able to afford egg and chips and roast chicken was a Sunday treat.

Luxury, we used to dream of egg and chips.

Afternoon tea should be accompanied by a selection of sandwiches, cakes, and scones. Not bloody egg and chips!

No wonder the Country is going to the dogs.

When I was a kid my dad took me to see Buckingham Palace.

He told me that if the Queen was 'in' we could go in for egg and chips.

Surprisingly, when we got there he told me that the Queen was away so we would have to eat elsewhere and I cried my eyes out.

What a bellend I was for believing that!

I didn't notice the poster at first and thought it was supposed to be Krang from the 80's turtles cartoon. Good job.

A true work of art OP.
  • Is it one of those matchstick-like puzzles where you have to move only three chips without cutting any in half to form an aardvark?

Didn't chirpy/riviera have a thing about taking the green leaf off his poppy?
Must admit, it's his best disguised account to date until this blunder.

Then sell it to Charles Saatchi.
You'll be as famous (and rich) as Tracey Emin.

As famous and rich, but not as beautiful, eh, OP?

It is definitely tea but I am from Newcastle
  • Is that all you had.......... Chip and egg???

You can't beat a bit of egg n chip shop chips, with a big doorstop of loaf with an over generous swipe of butter. Dipping the bread in the yoke then give it a tickle of Daddies Brown Sauce. Wallop !
It needs a massive bit of serloin with it!!! :) Can't have a meal without meat!
