Atmosphere

was talking to 2 westham fans the other day who do go home & away and have done for a few years. they were saying that the best atmopshere they find has been at charlton.

saying that the few games i can think of have been crackers like 4v0 last year
4v2 the parker show
4 v 4

so is it that or as i think we are a bit harsh on our own support?

    When the atmoshpere at the valley is good, it's great. The problem is that happens so rarely.

    West Ham at home last season was the best atmostphere we had all season.

    I think the problem is that we have to be playing someone we really dislike (CPFC, WHU, Spurs) to get going. When the team can't be arsed aginst teams like Hull we can't be arsed either...

    Friday will be electric, mainly because everyone will be drunk!

    I don't actually think it will be great on Friday unless unless we score early.

    I think with WHUFC there is a much closer connection (in terms of friends and family, I certainly have far more Hammers who I speak to than Nigels probably 20-1), and has always been the case and we have played in some recent storming games, anything with a 4 in it and we have won or drawn!

    As for Spurs I don't care.
