Mmm...seems we're a bit thin on player connections, so I'm adding some fan connections:
- my grandad used to report on Forest matches for the Nottingham Evening Post
- in a former life I did Forest's bookkeeping for a couple of years in the late 80s, during which a certain Mr Clough took offence at some double entry misdemeanor and called me a "little shit"
- in a completely unrelated incident years later, I sat next to Forest's late and much missed owner, Nigel Doughty, for a 2 hour video conference of which he spent 119 minutes asleep. (He'd obviously heard about my double entry bookkeeping from Cloughie).
So I suppose I've got quite a soft spot for Forest, but sod all that, COYA!!!0 -
