Does anyone know what's involved if you want to get a mobile app written and distributed? How do you make money from free apps?

    The money from free apps is, I believe, from the advertising that you can put in it.

    However, I think that the majority of money comes from 'in app purchases' that, effectively, allow you to move along more quickly. Some would call it cheating but it's just a way to buy yourself more money/weapons/lives etc.

    I have no idea how they are made but there are companies that offer to make apps for businesses that are built specifically to the client's requirements.
