Think this was missed, due to the abroad thing, but the Premiership have also announced that from next season, teams will be allowed to name 7 subs rather then the current 5.
Good thing, bad thing, no difference?

seems unnecessary
one thing I think would be good is the option to bring someone back on as one of your subs
ie. you've taken someone off but then want to bring them back on - it still counts as one of your three of course.0 -
Will mean that our Dugouts will have to be made bigger - Even if we don't go up, where the Prem goes the league goes too.0
-
Bad thing - All the big clubs will be able to play even more of a rotation system and therefore buy even more of the best players up.0
-
Its a load of bxxx. Lets get back to one sub0
-
Why don't we start with just the minimum 7 players and eventually, bring on 11 subs?
The way the Prem Circus is going, that'll be the next move.0 -
Maybe 3 outfield players + a keeper but only if he gets injured after your other 3 subs are made.0
-
a nighmare for Curbs.......now he has to name 2 more defenders in his squad !! lol0
-
We'll have special teams like in Hockey and NFL soon, bring on a load of lanky bas***ds for corners and then as the game carries on a defence unit swaps with them....it's a nightmare, the Premier League are ruining our game and no-one will stand up against them or sky as they're all making out like bandits because of them.0
-
Just to make it clear, they can have 7 subs on the bench, but can still only use 3 of those....0

Would be great if they had to have 3/4 players on the bench who were products of their youth system....0
