Like Riga was? Yes please.OsamaBenHamer said:You may laugh at Sherwood, but would you seriously rather see ANOTHER unknown Belgian with no knowledge or passion for the English game

Respected pro, knows the league, knows the club, knows the players. Any more of a risk than some unknown Belgian network stooge?cafcnick1992 said:

Sadly won't be Jackson in a million years although I'd like that1

And we think we have problems, Blackpool and Oyston omgstockportaddick said:It wont be Riga. Through work I see a certain Mr Oyston and according to him, Riga was not sacked at Blackpool for football reasons. Allegedly he was up to the same things at the Valley hence why he went and why he wont be taken back. Sorry before anyone asks but I will not say the reasons.

Well I'm just a poor Charlton fan
I asked Roland, who will it be
Will he be tested, will he be tried
Here's what he said to me.
Que Sera, Sera,
The network will be, will be
He'll be a Belgian like me
Que Sera, Sera

I want someone with experience managing in this league. A Brian McDermott type. Someone who's going to play simple effective football.

I think you might be correct. Riga wouldn't arse lick Roly and he wouldn't arse lick Oyston either. Good reason to give him the job now IMO.stockportaddick said:It wont be Riga. Thinking more on it I recall that RD sacked Luzon and appointed the SL assistant/academy coach.
So maybe Damien Matthews isn't such a long shot.
What are his odds?0 -
I'll be amazed if it's anyone other than Luzon or Fraeye.0

I can't see it being anyone but Luzon/Freye0 -
Matthew has spoken recently about his desire to step up and become a manager3

Didn't think Luzon was sacked. More moved into a different role but still employed by the network.Henry Irving said:Thinking more on it I recall that RD sacked Luzon and appointed the SL assistant/academy coach.

bring back riga he was doing well simples1

Roland made the right call with who should replace Powell in that performances were better, results were better, and we stayed up. I really don't think it will be Luzon on the basis he ballsed up at Liege and Roland doesn't rate him anymore. Freye seems more plausible but if Bob went because RD was alarmed about us falling down the table he might want a bit more experience... I am not as sure as some that either of are favourites frankly.0
