If he could only concentrate a bit more i think Magic could become a brilliant centre back.

  • i agree , early doors when he arrived he looked like an accident waiting to happen but his recent improved form and that of paddy as well have totally dumbfounded me, they've improved so much from their early performances and good on em and long may it continue... if magic could just lose the 'el kack' theatrics that would help as well

I have being saying this ever since he signed, the coaches at the club think he is technically one of the best defenders they have ever worked with, but like you have said sometimes his concentration seems to wander, plus he'll do the odd swing & miss at the ball which he seems to have cut out.

He's not slow, he's strong, can play the ball and has some skill.

It did seem that he's have one major cock up per game and I'm not always sure he wins enough in the air but in recent games both these aspects have improved.

Plus he's been dangerous at corners.

Would love to see more of those rampages forward.

He is great but he does still have one cock-up per game (handball vs. Palace).
I love to see centre-halves rampage forward - so any of that and I'll be happy .
He could be the new Carl Tiler if he tries hard enough.

He looks like he's put on about a stone since the Autumn and that physical presence has really improved his game. Another tick next to a Pardew signing.

you start it, and we'll follow you.

  • IMHO I think playing with Fortune was his problem to be honest.

    I'm worried about him tonight.

He will be booed a lot and i don't think his ego will be able to take it. He'll try something stupid, (i'm offering 6/4 on a Cryuff Turn on the six yard box) and we'll concede.

There too alike as players, McCarthy and Boogie compliment each other as a pair
